A cerimônia da 98ª edição do Oscars, aconteceu dia 15 de março de 2026, e o grande vencedor da noite foi "Uma Batalha Após a Outra", com seus estatuetas e "Pecadores" com quatro.
Embora o filme brasileiro "O Agente Secreto", dirigido por Kleber Mendonça Filho tenha recebido quatro indicações, saiu sem uma estatueta. Contudo, antes do Oscar, o filme nacional já havia vencido prêmios importantes como o Globo de Ouro de Melhor Filme em Língua Não Inglesa e Melhor Ator em Filme de Drama para Wagner Moura.
